Java Swirl, pencil sketch, scanned, vectorized and digitally colored
On a whim, I took what was originally a teeny, tiny pencil sketch, scanned it, scaled it up, converted it to vector art and added a digitally created swirl background pattern and bright colors. I then produced a few prints of what I felt was a fun and funky little graphic, placed them in a local gallery and people began buying them. I guess the purchasers agreed.
